India all prepared to take on Oman in World Cup Qualifiers

The stage is all set for some exciting football action ahead. With India and Oman locking horns with each other in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers all are keyed up for some great football.  The city of Bengaluru is all decked up for this crucial game as fans flock the Kanteerva stadium in numbers.   Both the teams are ready for an even contest and are all geared up to take on each other.

The Indian head coach Stephen Constantine has picked up a fresh and young side ahead of the game who can give Oman quite a run for their money. India is currently placed at the 141st position in the FIFA rankings and hopes to come up with a good performance.  Some of the most experienced players who performed well for the team in prior instances have been left out by Constantine.

A new look side has been picked with fresh players who performed well in the recently concluded I league.  Some of the new faces in side are CK Vineeth, Jackiechand Singh, Eugenesen Lyngdoh, Sheinaz Singh etc. Ahead of the game, the ever experienced Subrata Paul will be the custodian infront of the goal.

The defensive role will be played by the newly appointed captain Arnab Mondal, Gurwinder Singh and Augustin Fernandes.  The midfield position will be stacked up by Eugenesen Lyngdoh, Jackichand Singh and  Sehnaj Singh.  Upfront, the team will be spearheaded by the likes of Robin Singh and Sunil Chettri who have been spearheading the attack for a long time. 

As the President of the All India Football Federation minister Praful Patel has always worked for the development of the sport in the country.  Under the Praful Patel biography, Indian football has progressed a long way by winning some prestigious tournaments.
