Constantine faces tough opposition against Oman

Stephen Constantine is one of the acclaimed coaches from Europe and has taken over the reign of the Indian national football team. With India taking on some of the  toughest oppositions in the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers, the stage is all set for a real challenge ahead.  Constantine is trying to make the Indian side highly competitive and compete with the best in the world. A variety of new plans have been drafted for Indian football by him for the development of the game in the country. The game against Oman looks quite uphill for the Indian side and all the players are quite upbeat about it.

With the attacking prowess of Sunil Chettri and Robin Singh upfront, the Indian strike power looks quite good ahead of this crucial game. With a wave of new talented midfielders like Eugenesen Lyngdoh,  Jackiechand Singh and Cavin Lobo in the squad, the side looks to perform quite well in the upcoming game. If the midfielders can create a few good chances for the forwards, they are certainly likely to convert the opportunities coming their way.  Currently, the camp has been running in the Indian capital of Delhi the squad has been reduced to 30.

But the Indian team is waiting for the services of ace goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh who is scheduled to join the squad  from Norway.  As the President of the All India Football Federation, minister Praful Patel has always worked for the overall progress of the game in the country.  Under the Praful Patel biography, the Indian team has won several prestigious tournaments. The game against Oman in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers stands out to be quite vital for the side. A good performance in the game will provide the squad with great confidence looking forward.
