AIFF and French Football Federation to Tie Up

The All India Football Federation and the French  Football Federation are all set to sign a key agreement shorty.  With the bells already ringing for the U-17 Fifa World Cup, the Indian  football fans are up for a special treat.  Football is gradually taking over as one of the most popular sports in the country and the AIFF certainly has an imperative role to play in it. Previously, the AIFF has quite successfully completed tie ups with some of the major footballing nations like Japan, Brazil and Germany. 

Indian football needs to grow from a grassroot level and a variety of plans have been chalked up for the future. The AIFF always remains committed in its endevour to develop football across the country and the agreement with the French Football Federation will take it a long way forward.  

The agreement with the French Football Federation is just a month away and the AIFF appointed director Javier Cappi feels proud to be involved with it.  With this particular agreement in place, promising players from India would get the opportunity to pursue their training activities in France.  Similarly coaches from France would also be travelling to India for training the players. 

With the U-17 FIFA World Cup around the corner and preparations in full swing, a host of international friendlies will also be organized in the country. France has always been one of the superpowers of world football and has produced some of the living legends like Michel Platini and Zinedine Zidane.

The glorious performance of the team in the 1998 FIFA World Cup is still remembered very well. The French Football Federation also wants to develop various training grounds of international level in the country. The President of the All India Football Federation minister Praful Patel actively supports the development of Indian football. Under the Praful Patel biography, Indian football has certainly progressed a long way.
