Roger Johnson to sign up for Pune FC in upcoming ISL

The excitement of the ISL and its upcoming season is in full flow. With the astounding success of the first season, the second one is all set to begin in the  month of October.  Roger Jonhson is one of the most respected defenders from England and is all set to sign up for Pune FC in the upcoming matches. Considering the importance of the initial matches where organizing the defence acts as a very important factor and manager David Platt wants to come up with a memorable performance this season. 

Johnson stands out to be as one of the most acclaimed names in English football and has played a pivotal role in some of the topmost clubs. He has played in some of the top  English clubs like Cardiff City, Wycombe Wanderers and Cambridge United. 

After playing in all these clubs, he also played an imperative role in turning out for Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers. The experience of Johnson playing for some of the top notch sides in English football will certainly turn out to be welcome bonus for the Pune FC players. Platt himself has played in the top flight of English football and is quite hopeful about the signing of Johnson in the squad.
