India Women’s U-14 National Team qualifies to Semi Finals of AFC Regional Tournament

The India U-14 Women’s National Team qualifies to the Semi Finals of AFC Regional Tournament as they ended the match with Bangladesh in a draw in their second encounter of the AFC U-14 Regional Tournament. The Indian eves are gleaming in excitement as they make their move upwards. Bangladesh opened their score book in the 20th minute of the match. However, five minutes later Indian Captain Soni Kumari showcased her skills and she pushed the ball right past the Bangladeshi Goalkeeper to make it an even call. At Half time the scoreboard remained 1-all. 

The Indian Eves, in the attempt to garner victory, refreshed things up. Karishm Rai who had scored four Goals against Bhutan, was introduced in place of Soumya Guguloth. Despite, the fortune for the Indian eves have not been much favourable and could not find an opening as the Bangladeshi defense thwarted their attempts. The match finally ended with the scoreboard remaining the same. 

It is a matter of remarkable achievement that Women’s football is gaining much momentum in an international arena.
