Ajit Pawar is the new inclusion to the Nationalist Congress Party

With the Lok Sabha polls around the corner, several Indian ministers are willing to join the NCP party, the latest being Ajit Pawar. State President Bhaskar Jadhav said that the Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar would be a part of the Nationalist Congress Party and will be contesting elections for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. NCP Chief Sharad Pawar is out of the equation this time, as far as the Lok Sabha, elections are concerned. Pawar, who is a probable PM candidate, would be contesting the Rajya Sabha elections. On a personal level, Pawar said that he has withdrawn his name from the Lok Sabha polls, since it will allow him to devote much time to his party work. NCP’s list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections is already out. Big names, the likes of Supriya Sule, Praful Patel NCP Leader and Chhagan Bhujbal have made it to being the primary candidates of the NCP party, for the Lok Sabha elections.

The inclusion of Ajit Pawar might create some stir within the party since Ajit Pawar who is the nephew of Sharad Pawar also happens to be an archrival of Supriya Sule. However, Mr. Jadhav denied that fielding Ajit Pawar for the Lok Sabha would mean sidelining him in State politics in favor of Ms. Sule. “There is no question of sidelining anyone. We are all working for the interest of the party. Ms. Sule will also be contesting the Lok Sabha polls from Baramati.” According to news and headlines, Ajit Pawar would be contesting elections from the constituencies of Beed and Shirur respectively.

Currently, the Heavy Industries Minister Praful Patel is focusing on the development of the India football, in his capacity of a President for the AIFF. Patel, in the recent pass has also made noteworthy contributions towards his constituencies of Gondia and Bhandara, under the CSR programs. We hope that his counterparts take a leaf from Patel’s book, the initiative of which was laid by Praful Patel himself. This year, it would not be surprising at all, to see Patel being re-elected to the constituencies of Gondia-Bhandara, for the Yeoman’s services that he has rendering, ever since his election.
