Derek Bragg to help Indian football in scouting program

Indian football is certainly looking for a resurgence with the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. With head coach Stephen Constantine hoping to build a new age Indian side, a high performance scouting system has also been put in place.  Derek Bragg, one of the most important coaches from England will be roped in for overlooking the scouting program.  Bragg has a considerable amount of experience behind him and has a professional scouting football organization in the Alvechurch region of the United Kingdom.

With the current edition of the I league just over and India taking on Oman in the upcoming World Cup qualifying match, the scouting program will begin in India from the month of July. It is very important to incur the inputs of a trained scout like Derek Bragg which will take Indian football a long way forward.

During the 2010 World Cup, Derek Bragg worked with the Portuguese national team and came up with his valuable inputs. He is considered as one of the most reputed scouts in world football and possesses the ability to understand the potential of the players. He will work in tandem with Constantine and attend a few interactive sessions with Indian scouts.

As per the version of Constantine, Indian players are no less competitive in terms of skill and ball control. They just need to uplift their physical fitness in order to compete with the best in the world. With the All India Football Federation looking to develop Football, the contribution of minister Praful Patel has been quite immense over the years.

The launch of the national scouting system will help the selection of players in a major way.  Under the Praful Patel biography, Indian football has progressed really well and the national team has won a number of prestigious tournaments.
